Nursery-in-Progress

Bob has been working really hard on the baby's nursery. Here's the progress he's made so far. It's taking quite a bit of time because he had to paint two different colors!

Wait until you see the coolest thing Bob found to replace this light fixture... I was so proud of him. That post is to come!

This was the most expensive part of the whole room- a Container Store closet. I'm a little jealous.

Can you believe my child only has a half a shelf of books? I'm working on fixing this problem. Let me know what your favorite picture books are so I can add to his collection.

I decided against a rocker for two reasons. First of all, I can and have slept in this chair, so I know it's comfortable. Secondly, it's my favorite chair in the entire world, and I know if Bob had his way he'd get rid of it. I gave Bob half of the living room back by putting it in the kid's room.

Bob thinks he's leaving this. He's not.

On this wall is where our shooting glow-in-the-dark stars are going to go. We actually already put them up, but they fell down (and I won't tell you that they'd have hit the kid if he'd have been in his crib). We lost all but two yesterday, and Bob pointed out when I posted this pic that there's only one left. Hmmmm.... we may be rethinking this wall....

Thanks for visiting! We'll post more when we're (or Bob) is done!
