Our Little Egg Yolk Thing

Today was our first sonogram, and so we decided to start the baby blog. We found out our embryo has a heartbeat (145 beats/minute) and an egg yolk. If you look at the sonogram pics, that head-looking thing is not a head. It's the egg yolk sac. Hmm. Didn't know I had one of those. The kid is 8 weeks old, and Bob was disappointed to find out that there was only one kid in there (though my uterus was relieved). You should expect to hear from the kid about May 17, 2009.
Can I just say one thing about sonograms-- they don't do them like you see on t.v. apparently. That's all I can say without being censored.

Ultrasound temporarily removed... It will be back soon, promise!

Congratulations!! We're happy for you!

BTW, I know ALL about those ultrasounds!! I nearly fainted the first time I saw the machine...with the little rubber covering over the "probe" ;-)

We will look forward to continued updates about Baby Chiang!
